LOW-LEVEL-LASERTHERAPY

Lasertherapy is the use of external measures for prophylaxis or treatment of disorders and functional restrictions of the musculoskeletal system and organs.

The key is preventing disorders of the muscles, joints, ligaments and the skeletal system or, if necessary, restoring their functions. Depending on the clinical picture, appropriate natural physical frequencies and their generated high-energy radiation are used.

Biophysical studies have shown that this type of laser radiation, used sensibly, reduces pathological processes and supports cell regeneration and creates new "order" in the affected arena.
Methods of physiotherapy such as massages and Kinesiotaping are often used as complementary treatment.

Some areas of application are:

  • Skeletal disorders (e.g. Arthritis, Arthrosis)

  • Muscle and connective tissue disorders

  • Neurological diseases

  • Lymphatic system diseases

  • Unclear lameness

  • As accompanying treatment before and after operations

  • Relaxation during tension and stress

  • Preventive to maintain functions of muscles and of joints and thus long-term freedom from pain
  • Dermatological disorders

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture has its origins in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which has been in existence for more than 3000 years, and has been successfully applied in veterinary medicine ever since.

TCM is mainly about perceiving the animal's body as a harmonious balance. However, an imbalance disturbs the body and makes it sick. Ideally, by doing profound examinations, interference fields are detected early and thus can be treated promisingly.

By stimulating acupuncture points, self-healing powers of the body are activated, energy supply is improved and an existing imbalance will be resolved.

The Low-Level Laser Pen is a great assistive device for acupuncture treatments on animals. It produces the same effect as needle acupuncture, but it is a non-invasive procedure and does not cause any discomfort to the animal.

Through the high precision of controlled laser acupuncture, even deeply hidden interference fields can be detected and specifically treated.

Some areas of application are:

  • Respiratory diseases:
    Cough, chronic bronchitis, COPD, allergies

  • Gastrointestinal disorders:
Inflammation of the stomach, gastric ulcers, colic, fecal water, diarrhea

  • Musculoskeletal disorders:
Unclear lameness, back pain, inflammation of the joints or tendons, Arthrosis

  • Skin disorders:
    Eczema, mauke, mite infestation, scars

  • Eye disorders:
Watery eyes, conjunctivitis, periodic eye infections

  • Gynecological diseases:
Estrus disorders, infertility, unwillingness to breed of the stallion

  • Mental suffering: anxiety, agitation, aggression

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment method that originally stems from osteopathy. It is used not only for humans but also for animals such as horses, dogs, and cats.

The therapy is based on the concept that there is a rhythmic flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) between the skull (cranium) and the sacrum – known as the craniosacral rhythm. This rhythm affects the entire nervous system and many body functions.

Goal of the Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy aims to release blockages and tensions in the body that disrupt this rhythm. This can help to activate the animal’s self-healing powers, improve overall well-being, and relieve pain.

How It Works

Therefore I use a gentle, targeted touch, usually on the head, back, pelvis, or along the spine. Animals often respond very sensitively – many deeply relax or show signs of relief like yawning, chewing, or stretching.

Areas of Application

  • Tension and restricted mobility

  • Pain (e.g., after injuries or surgeries)

  • Stress, anxiety, or trauma

  • Behavioral issues

  • Problems related to the musculoskeletal or nervous system

Benefits

  • Gentle and non-invasive

  • Complements conventional medicine or physiotherapy

  • Promotes relaxation and overall well-being

PHYTOTHERAPY

Horses are herbal experts through and through. In nature, herbs play an existential role for them. Horses living in nature know exactly which herbs their body needs when and how much and which plants are possibly poisonous. With modern stall keeping, horses unfortunately no longer have the possibility to get hold of these nutrient-rich herbs and are dependent on humans.

When choosing the right herbal mixture the holism of the horse is considered and the appropriate choice includes factors such as symptomatology, illness, character, peculiarities, constitution and leading symptoms.
Accordingly, the appropriate supplementary feed for each horse is ideally selected individually for prophylaxis or for a specific clinical picture.

In many cases a simple feed and a tailored natural supplement is sufficient to bring a horse back into its natural balance.

Whether for leisure or sport horses, Herbal feeding is particularly promising as a long-term and sustainable treatment. Sports horses are of course informed about the respective grace periods of the products.

In many cases I like to use aromatherapy as an accompaniment.

The fields of application include:

  • A balanced diet

  • All acute or chronic diseases

  • Sport horses to support performance

  • Mares and stallions used for breeding (especially during the breeding season)

  • Breaking of young horses

  • Stable move or other changes in the environment

  • Mental suffering

  • Detoxification cures

Trauma therapy, mycotherapy, Jin Shin Jyutsu healing streams, and others...
